Rowland Heights Housing

I just went to an open house yesterday in Rowland Heights, and I was surprised to find a cost cut. From 808,000 to 789,800.

$18,200 reduction, 2.3% change.

Nice house that used to have an outdoor model train in the back, that the real estate person said to take out :-(

It's also been on the market for 72 days.

And I am not seeing a huge amount of other Rowland Heights houses on the market.

I am not sure why...

The what is China, China, and China.

  1. You do know the mainland Chinese are also buying houses in Chino Hills, Chino, Yorba Linda, Brea, Placentia, and Corona --- not just Rowland Heights?

  2. I live in Rowland Heights, so I have pay a bit more attention to housing here.

The areas with mainland Chinese buying in the US is amazing.

In the San Gabriel area of LA County I have noticed these areas have a lot of Chinese.

    Arcadia
    San Marino
    Monterey Park
    El Monte
    Cerritos
    Hacienda Heights
    Alhambra
    San Gabriel
    Rowland Heights
    Walnut
    Diamond Bar
    West Covina, South Hills area

In OC, I have not noticed Placentia. Agree on Yorba Linda.

    Corona surprises me.

    Agree on Chino Hills.

  3. Corona apparently has a critical mass of Chinese and other Asian Americans to support a 99 Ranch Market location, complete with in-store Bread Farm Bakery.
