Cerritos has a large proportion ethnic Chinese in their population. Why - schools. Their school district has some schools that require testing to get into and are highly ranked. Some families move halfway around the world to go to school here. Some of my daughter's friends from Kindergarten the Rowland Heights area moved to Cerritos because of their great school system.
