China's fight against disposable chopsticks - LA Times
I question the cost difference. 1 cent for a disposable pair of chopsticks, verses 15 to 70 cents to sterilize them.
I am thinking about what restaurants use disposable chopsticks in the US, verses which ones don't. Its something I have not noticed.
