China Exports Miss Forecasts as ‘Absurd’ Data Probed

Benjamin Disraeli, per Mark Twain once said:

There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics. Statistics from China do seem to fit the quote. The take away from the article I get, is the Chinese economy strength has not fully recovered yet.

Possible Issues:
  • Global economy is weak - China's economy is built on exports currently.
  • Over building / production / supply that has lead to inefficient investment in some areas of the Chinese economy. The Chinese Solyndra is a classic. Another article I read today mentioned China has 170 car manufacturers.
  • Environmental cost to China's GDP
