Teaching Chinese without knowing it
A customer of mine is interested in recommendatBlogger: Helping Children to Learn Chinese Language -Childbook.com an Online Chinese Book store - Create Postions on materials to teach a class Chinese, and they don't know Chinese. I spoke with a supplier of mine and they said this is pretty common, because their is a shortage of Chinese students.
So what should I recommend? Since the school includes Middle School age students, it can't be too young, so there goes many of my Learn MandBlogger: Helping Children to Learn Chinese Language -Childbook.com an Online Chinese Book store - Create Postarin Chinese Video's/DVD's for Kids/Children that are aimed at younger kids.
I finally ended up recommending Follow Jade - Let's Visit Chinese Kindergarten in DVD and Follow Jade! Learn Chinese: Let's Go to Market in China DVD as well as Learning Chinese Software. With the software, the teacher can hook up a PC to a projector which can make it very interactive with the class. Many of the Learning Chinese Software includes video's in it. This way the teacher can choose which lesson they want to work with. A good example of this is Kuaile Hanyu CDROM #1 (Software that teaches beginning Chinese) that has 8 levels, with 3 lessons per level including videos in there. There are 3 CD Roms available. The reviews are very positive on the first one and it's only $19.95.

One way to teach about Traditional Chinese Culture and Chinese History is through novels and stories. My daughter actually taught me a few things about the Chinese Cultural Revolution after she read, Yuan-tsung Chen's novel, "Return to Middle Kingdom".
It really very good for language learner which are exited to read, write and also wants to develop his personality. After this book i was so happy.
