Supreme Dragon Rowland Heights - RIP
I did not even notice it till I was on Yelp today, and saw that Supreme Dragon was closed. It's was located in the Hong Kong Plaza, named for the Hong Kong Market that used to be there.
LA.Eater had an article that was insightful. I thought the prices went up and quality went down. One of the Yelp reviews mentioned they got new owners that short staffed the restaurant. Another article mentioned how there is a lot more competition in the area now selling Beef Noodle Soup.
The plaza used to be very nice, but now it has a lot of empty store fronts. A friend that had a restaurant there had a direct competitor open right next to them. They got into a price war, and my friend's restaurant survived, but it left a bad flavor. They then sold the restaurant, and the new owner could not make it work.
Three Family Restaurant is in the same plaza that has a good Beef Soup.
