Dual-language lessons growing in popularity
It's nice that more and more schools are offering dual language programs. I am surprised by the growth in immersion programs in schools in California, it used to be the only good immersion programs for Chinese I knew of were in the Bay Area.

The Chinese Language: Is it Hard for Kids to Learn?
We parents want to give our children the best opportunities
in life. We do our best to get them into good schools, give them good books to
enrich their vocabularies, and prepare them for the future. They are going to
grow up in a world connected by globalization, thus learning new languages will
be a great advantage.
When we were young, Spanish and French were the foreign
languages to learn. Meanwhile kids today will grow up in a world of a rising
Asia, with businesses and technology rapidly growing in countries like China,
India, Japan, and Taiwan. So we can imagine that when they reach high school
and college, these will be the foreign language of choice.
Chinese is the most spoken language in the world. So why not
start your kids early and give them the upper hand for their future business? Fun,
interactive textbooks and videos pave the way for Chinese made easy for kids.
Their minds absorb a great deal of information, so just a little exposure each
day will reap so many benefits.
Who knows? Maybe even parents can pick up a phrase or two
with Chinese made easy for kids.

Introducing Your Child to the Chinese Language
Learning Chinese is a good idea, whether you come from Chinese ancestry or not. Chinese is the most spoken language all over the world, and a booming country for business.
To adults, learning Chinese will sound complicated and difficult. But for children, whose minds are like a sponge, a new language is the same as learning about a new topic in school. Plus, there are so much new materials available, like an interactive Chinese textbook for kids.
The best way to learn a language is to be immersed in it. Give your child a Chinese comic book and a few learning videos. You can also converse in the language regularly if your family speaks Chinese. And during down times, do worksheets from Chinese textbooks that would hone your child’s comprehension.
Looking for a Chinese textbook for kids shouldn't difficult, it's actually quite easy. You can go and try out your local library if they have any in stock or better yet, buy them online. There are many websites catering to Chinese children's books for sale and the choices of books are many. So why not go online and introduce your child to the Chinese Language.
